Stay away from Bridge Language School (also called Eastern English Academy) in Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The owner (pm for name) is a d k. He is constantly screwing around his teachers. The complaints are too numerous to list but include the director refusing to talk to the foreign teachers, not granting holidays, not paying severance, etc. The latest squabble is that he is refusing to sign a proof of employment form for me. I completed my contracts, was a good teacher, but I haven't worked there for nearly a year. I asked for this form over a year ago before I left and now I really need it for an application for another job and he's still refusing to sign the thing. What gives!?! Why is he still making my life miserable all this time later?!


Also beware Lee Hae-Jeong (Hayley Lee) of ESL Dream Jobs, she does his recruiting (and a lot around Daegu). She'll say anything to get you in the door. She promises a lot of things in a contract that she doesn't have any control over.
