|
|
Hi everyone.
I've been trying all day to order tickets to Morrissey in Seoul through the Interpark website. It all goes well up until the final 'confirm payment' button.....when I click this the screen goes blank, makes a strange clicking noise and takes me back to the start of order process.
I have checked and the transaction is obviously not complete.
Does anyone have a similar experience trying to order tickets through this site and how to remedy it???
Thanks! |

If ticket purchase uses the same protocol as any other purchase, the most likely explanation would be that the electronic authorization module for your debit/credit card didn't properly kick in,thereby resetting the entire booking process.
All of those card payment authorization modules in Korea work on Internet Explorer after installing some ActiveX plug-ins. Furthermore, particular password (different from your PIN) should have been set with respective bank and/or card network beforehand.
See if any of the above applies to your case. |

Interpark used to work work me in 2008 and 2009. Never again after that. I missed the Herbie Hancock concert thanks to that.
The reason it failed for me had something to do with the "secret number" for the card used. It is or isn't:
- the CCV 3 digit code
- your 4 digit PIN (who would use that on an insecure site or computer???)
- the first or last 2 digits of your PIN (safer, but still feels uncomfortable)
- the first half of your ARC
- an entirely random number told only to Koreans
The symptoms I had are the same as the OP's. I tried a dozen times - and you have to wait for a while if you want the same seats, because they are reserved for 10-15 minutes - never got anywhere.
Days later I received an email from Interpark (try and find that!) explaining the process to me. Maybe I can find that again, anyway I just gave up on it.
Plus all the possible reasons with your card not being accepted, working etc. |
