An article that recently appeared in the science section of The Korea Times:

Quote:
An international team of oceanic experts have found an alien ship from Planet Gootan National on the bottom of the Baltic Sea.

The ship was abandoned, but experts from the U.N. Panel of Extraterrestrials told WWN that the Gootans were using the Baltic Sea as a base to spy on humans....

It's the Millennium Falcon too. Art imitates life after all. I always knew George had reptilian scales under that fleshy, pink mask.

Put under 'science', no less.

Amazing it looks so much like the space ships in the movies.

NASA Astronaut Edgar Mitchell has said the plan was to slowly introduce the idea to people that there could be life out there somewhere.

-New planets being discovered all the time with possible Earth-like conditions

-Possible ancient spaceship at the bottom of a lake

-If anything crazy comes from this Antarctic lake the Russians just drilled into.... man.. just imagine....

Actually, I had already read that something large has been detected by sonar, but no one has done any further investigations. Of course, beyond that, the article is garbage. Clearly, someone is playing a practical joke on the Korea Times.

Little do they know it is their reporters. In fact, the joke runs so deep, even the reporters are unaware.

Yes, the reporters were probably duped by someone. Either that or they were not able to distinguish satirical humor from actual fact in what was probably purely internet research.

Of course, another possibility remains. Perhaps, one of the reporters has discovered satire. If that is case, everything in Korea is about to change. Laughing

Actually, it seems that the Korea Times simply copied verbatim from the Weekly World News which is a British Tabloid if I am not mistaken.

For a more balanced commentary, the following article is probably a bit more trustworthy as nonsatirical and serious news.

A search of The Korea Times' archives reveals they've published plenty of similar articles in the past. Some examples:

"Extraterrestrial cemetery in Rwanda, Central Africa which is at least 500 years old, was discovered."
http://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/news/nation/2011/04/113_57334.html

"Researchers have identified three giant objects, probably outer spaceships, approaching Earth, Russian daily Pravda reported Wednesday."
