Sorry to keep bringing up my midnight run, but I have another question to put to you...
I've been told my the embassy in London and the immigration in South Korea that I may or may not be accepted back on another E2. They say all I can do is try. They say that it completely depends on the officer that gets my application. This brings me to my question...what can I do to improve my chances?
1. Firstly, when I send my document package to South Korea, does the school or company open this package and then take it to immigration, or do they simply take it to immigration and await the letter of confirmation and issuance number?
2. Obviously I do not want the new employer to know about my previous history in Korea, so do you recommend sending any supporting documents in my document package to back up my case...by supporting documents I mean any of the following in addition to the degree, contract, police check etc...
- A letter of explanation, detailing the behaviour of my previous school.
- Supporting documents that help prove competency in the teaching profession. For instance: my perspective on teaching, an essay about myself and my teaching qualification.
- a copy of my marriage certificate, verifying that my wife is indeed South Korean.
What do you guys think?
Cheers. |
