are you referring to a guy named "Jay" from Korea Connections?

I went through him a few years ago and I remember he was solid in helping me secure a position.

Yes, I am thinking which agency I should use KorVia or Korea Connections. Were you place with SMOE too? Were they supportive and helpful throughout your experience in Korea? Thanks for replying to my question.

Jay from KoreaConnections was solid.

But, is SMOE taking in new candidates with all of the cuts going on? Are you looking to apply to elementary, middle or high school? Starting in March 2012, there won't be any NSETs teaching in high schools - I'm not sure about elementary and middle schools.

What do you mean he was solid? I'm thinking about applying to elementary school.

Jay is really a good guy. He actually used to teach high school himself. He'll tell you whatever you want to know, up front. He's been working w/SMOE for some years now, Gepik also -

I trust him explicitly and that's saying a lot.

Thanks for responding luckylady.

I was a little concern about Korea Connections because I don't hear it as much as KorVia. But the agency website does look good.

I noticed Korea Connections only work for SMOE. Do they work for EPIK too? Or they work directly with SMOE?
