I discovered there is an orphanage close to my place in Seoul, so I'm planning a visit. I'm in the U.S. right now so I was planning on bringing some boxes of foreign candy (Twix and Reese Peanut butter cups).
Any recommendations as to what else they might want? |

I think any filled sugar treat will be appreciated but I would recommend sticking with Korean candy. I have been burned and wasted money on letting my students try some candy that I loved.
Jelly Bellys sucked on for second and spit out.
Cinnamon Hearts are too spicy and spit out.
Wintermint gum compared to medicine and spit out.
Licorice both red and black both tasted and wasted.
Kids are not keen taste experimenters. They will have some set likes and dislikes keep simple with fruit flavor candies or basic chocolate.
Why not just take the kids out to the local store and let them stock up on what they want! |
