Does anyone know if it is possible to cancel a visa application once it is already at immigration? I'm running into so many issues with the school I'm supposed to be working at. I sent all of my documents in early January, signed a contract for February 1st, and still have not received my visa confirmation number. Apparently now there are issues with my background check.
I've been offered another position (starting ASAP)... and am considering taking it. But I know that if my visa application is approved, I can't take another job for three months.
Do I have any way to cancel this visa application now? Would my recruiter cancel it if I told them I was no longer taking the job, or would they just leave it and I wouldn't know whether or not its been approved?
Thanks!!! |

I don't think you will have problems canceling it, but I doubt you will get your documents back. You'll probably have to get new ones. |

Any idea how I would do that though? I called immigration before and they wouldn't even tell me if my application had been received or not. |
