I am moving into a new place and need to get a bed and ideally a couch. I can't tell if this is an actual bed?

Is this the same as the nice, really comfortable, soft temper-pedic mattress toppers they have in the US? I'd like to get the above 'bed' and put this on top. Zzzzz.

I've bought a desk before on gmarket and it was easy to put together, was good quality and no complaints. I'm open to suggestions on another way to get hold of a bed, couch or desk easily/cheap.

3. Its a latex mattress topper. I don't know the difference between tempur-pedic and a generic latex topper (other than the premium price). I did use a memory foam mattress topper back in the US (not tempurpedic) and can tell you from personal experience that its not worth it.

Yes, it is softer and comfortable. However, the material does not "breathe". If you like waking up with your back/shirt soaked in sweat then go for it. After a few months of usage, the foam also starts to discolor, looking like a giant urine stain.
