Hours of availability does not = actual working hours.

This is a common mistake people make when judging an offer by the hours listed. The school wants to make sure you are available, but if you can come and go, then having 2 shifts somewhere within those hours it isn't necessarily bad and could help you to make sure you don't have to work past early evening. It means that is your time off. If the hours weren't listed, then they could expect you to be there until 10pm or so. I personally don't want that every day. Once in a while is fine, but I would want to be done by 7 as mentioned in the offers.

I am not too crazy about the female only restrictions or airfare not being paid. The 1.9 offer is a bit low for salary, but maybe you can get overtime if it is low hours.

Always felt, people who can do Kindy should be compensated both for the hours and for dealing with young ankle biters and ball punchers.

Yea some of the details are pretty cruddy. But as mentioned the finer points are lacking.

Yea that 1.9 million pay is complete rip. That should be 2.2 and above.

Even the other little things like no pension, translation no pension, no health insurance. School is going to be cheap and will nickel and dime.

The female preferred, I can understand, they are trying to fill in a business requirement. Yet female does not always mean better with the young children.

The flight ticket one, once again I understand a little. But when they low ball like that and up the demand of a in country teacher, the school can be setting themselves up for troubles.
