Where in Uiwang? The city's got a pretty wide range of possibilities in terms of standard of living. |

It's not that big. I used to live around there. Close to Hagwon-ga (where there are a lot of foreigners). Takes about 50 minutes to get to Seoul. I think there's an art college there, or something like that. If it's your first time in Korea, there are definitely much worse places to be. |

Uiwang stretches from the north of Anyang to the north of Suwon. In general it has good links to both as well as Seoul which is less than an hour away.
Overall a nice place, I lived there not long ago and enjoyed very much. It is a bit lost due to its location and is more of an county than a city.
I would say it's a nice place to live and for a first-timer its a good option. |

It's pretty big actually. The part where hagwon-ga is located is really disconnected from the rest of the city and fairly unrepresentative of the city as a whole. Southern Uiwang is really close to Suwon and much more a reflection of Suwon than the northern part near Indeogwon. |

Yeah it is my first time out in Korea so just want to make sure I'd be comfortable. Not sure on the exact location right now, only that it is in Uiwang..
Anyone living there now that could give me a good idea about what the place is like? How it is living there? |

I live about five minutes away in the next town over. Again, it's really difficult to answer your questions without knowing specifically where you'll be living. There's not much to Uiwang itself, as it's more of a feeder city for Anyang and Gunpo in the north and Suwon in the south. If you look up information on those cities it will give you a decent idea of what you're getting into. |

Population 150,000? Not big. |

Basically attached to cities of upwards of 1,000,000, 600,000, and 300,000? Irrelevant. |
