Hi,

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good (clean) place to get a full body Thai massage at a reasonable price? Preferably near Camp Walker. Downtown would also work I think.

Thanks Smile

Actually in the really rich area.... umm what's it called.... begins with b. Like Bomo... Beomo or something.

There's a few areas with Thai massage. You need to keep your eyes out because there is "Thai Massage" and then there is "Thigh Massage" if you catch the drift.

But if it explicty says Thai massage you should be fine. There are 2 I know of in the area. Really good. You get a private room, and someone comes in and massages you for a while and you can sleep in the room when it's all done. Nice facility, wooden walls, cheesy music. I think it was $30 an hour.

Aren't those ones called an ma? Think the Thai ones are legit, unless there are others I haven't heard of.

An an ma is a soapy massage parlor. Look for 타이전통마사지 (traditional thai massage) if you want a legit place.

Thanks but I was hoping for specific directions to one in the area I mentioned. It's for a friend who lives in Seoul and is going to Daegu for the first time, so he doesn't know the area at all.

Hard to navigate Daegu with "specific" addresses. Or at least in my experience cab drivers use landmarks. So for example I'd say "Home Plus anjirang" and they'd know how to get to the place. But if I say "Taegu .... 24 whatever whatever whatever... street x" they generally had NO idea. I can't tell you how many times I'd have to call my contact, then get the cab driver on the phone with them to figure out where it is.

I think you could just say "Beomo" And specify Thai massage. I know of a particularly popular place that GI's go to, unfortunately it's been WAY too long since I've been in Daegu and I can't tell you the area. But it's between banwoldang and Beomo. Somewhere in that area. It's right next to a big hotel called something like... Daegu hotel. Or something like that.

So sorry wish I could be of more help.
