Hey guys,
So I just picked up my Alien Registration Card today from the Seoul Immigration office. I was relieved to skip the ten million people waiting to lodge forms as I was only picking up my card. Now I've been trying to find out online whether the card for an F4 Visa holder looks any different to the Alien card for an E2 holder.
As I was picking up my card today, I noticed that it looked nothing like the Alien Card I was told to expect, which I believe is blue, and also has Alien Registration Card written on it in English.
Mine looks nothing like that. It's brown, with no English except for my name on it. Photo is on the left side of the card, with my DOB, Visa type and name on the right. Top right corner is KOR. I just want to confirm whether this is an acceptable alternative, as I'm slightly confused about whether I applied for the wrong thing, or if it is different for F4's.
Perhaps it's just new year, new look. I really don't know. Any light shed on this matter would be greatly appreciated. |

| The design changed sometime last year, but I'm not sure exactly when. In the new design, F-4 and F-5 cards are a different color. All the rest are blue. Nothing to worry about. |
