I got my E-7 visa issuance number. In the past I have only had E-2 visas.

Is the process for the E-7 visa any different than the E-2 when applying in Canada? Toronto Consulate

Do I need to use the same application form as the E-2? The Toronto website has almost no information that I could find about the E-7.

Anyone experienced this?

I'm going to call the consulate in the morning but just wondering if anyone has any info before I call tomorrow.

Once you've got your visa-issuance number, the rest is the same process as the E2, except that you don't have to worry about any medical check before you apply for your ARC.

Consider checking out the hikorea website.

The consulate is more for specifics on certain paperwork.
(Do not get me started on the Toronto consulates vague instruction regarding about paperwork)

Yeah the Toronto Consulate is really bad in my experiences with them over the last few years. They rarely reply to emails, I've got different information from different people on a few occasions. When you call them, they never answer, and it goes to voice mail, you have to wait around hoping someone will call you back, which often never happens.

Maybe, it's better if you go in person but not if you live 700km's from the consulate and have to use email and phone calls.
