Hey! I haven't posted here on Dave's in a long time, but I was so happy my girlfriend started doing this that I wanted to share the video. She's also made straight up multigrain bread and cake in the thing. Do you know what it feels like to have fresh banana bread baking in your apartment in South Korea? It's amazing.

This is awesome~~~ I've been craving banana bread ;.; But, I had a question... On the blog it says to run it through two cycles... but after running my rice cooker for one cycle, if I try to push the bar down and run it again, it just pops back up ;.; How do you make it go through two cycles? |

I would think just unplug it and plug it back in. |

All of them seem to be a little bit different. On our ugly yellow one, you have to cancel the automatic post-cooking warm function, THEN start another cycle. Yours might work like our little water heating kettle, which seems to have some kind of fuse or thermostat that you have to outwit/wait a few minutes for. Try what duke of new york said, unplug it for a second and then plug it back in. |

Thanks! and thanks to Evan and Rachel too. I'm gonna try that this weekend I think. I like the video style too - simple and honest. |

Do a search on "rice cooker recipes" and you'll find many other dishes you can make in a rice cooker. I cook most dishes in my rice cooker, except rice. |

Possibly too hot. Give it time to cool and see what happens.
I have no idea how this will affect the bread. |

Nice. I love homemade bread. If there weren't so many damned bakeries around where I live who do bread almost as good as the French, I'd be tempted to bake my own. |
