Eh, nothing comes close to the rudeness of his Tom Snyder appearance in 1980. I think that interview is studied in official rudeness certification courses. Utube it. |

No doubt. The above links just show he's still been spry even years after that infamous appearance.
Although appallingly conceited (to the point it was a performance in itself) in that interview, he was dead on in saying that rock had run its course and was beginning to devolve into 'star posing' and just repeating itself ad nauseum. |

The Snyder interview is an all-time classic of Situationist performance art, imo. I felt bad for poor Tom though. |
