|
|
i'm looking to have a small sized suitcase filled with stuff sent from America and the shipping costs i've found ran about:
UPS = $450 ish
Fed = $400 ish
DHL = couldn't get website to load
the biggest thing i am looking for is getting a couple cases of Red Bull Sugar Free sent to me from the States along with my XBox
any suggestions? |

I'd suggest you not do it.
XBox games are region encoded meaning that Korean Xbox games won't work in your American console. You might be able to get US games at Yongsan or through YesAsia or something, but be aware that this will be an issue.
As for the Red Bull, sending a large quantity may raise some red flags with customs and you may be charged customs fees or they may not allow the shipment at all. If someone sends a small amount in a care package, it will probably be fine. |

look into hanjin, i think they're partnered with dhl. depending on the size and weight, and if you ship by air or sea, it's generally 60-75lbs $100-$209 |

WWW.shipnex.com
I've used them, much cheaper than Fedex, UPS or DHL. The funny thing is, is that the actual company doing the shipping for them is Fedex, UPS or DHL. They purchase bulkspace on these companies planes that would normally be empty. Then they sell it to customers at a steep discount. So you will use one of the main 3 shipping companies and but pay a much cheaper price. |

thanks so much guys!
there is only one game i really want to play for now, MW3 but great heads up in regards to future releases...i assume i shouldn't have a problem connecting w/my Clan mates on XBL since i've got Asian players ad freiends and have played w/them
in regards to shipping large quantity, i'm having it sent in a suitcase along w/some other personal belongings, that should ok then? does customs do random spot checking and is it actually ok to have Red Bull shipped for personal consumption? |

Well, they're going to x-ray it, so it's not like they're not going to know what it is. And it probably depends on what they consider to be an amount for personal use. A few cases? Probably fine. 20 cases? Not so much. |
