Do passport photos work okay? I have a lot of passport photos I got taken when I started this whole process. The passport photo is mostly just a head shot, but maybe around 1/10 of the bottom portion of the photo shows my clothes that day, in which I was just wearing a T-shirt. Should I get them redone in a more professional attire? Or should I get a larger photo of myself wearing professional clothes? I'm not really sure what employers look for in these photos honestly. |

I assume you are a male.
For the top of your resume I would suggest a head and shoulders photo with a collared shirt and tie.
If you want to add another one or two at the end then something with you and kids or in a classroom.
If you have no classroom/teacher experience then just the professional shot at the top of the resume.

Thanks, and yes I am male. Also what do you mean at the "top of your resume". Do you drag the image directly onto your resume? I have my resume ready, but I was under the impression that you just e-mail them the resume with the photo attached, I did not know you combine them into 1 thing. |

Typical format for a resume in Asia (or the last 1500 or so that I have read/reviewed) is to attach a passport type photo to the top of the 1st page of the resume and any others would be as attachments to the e-mail.

Indeed a FB search has become almost automatic when screening applicants. |
