I graduate this year in December. I've already started harassing my college about getting the diploma ASAP, rushed after December and got a reply for them that they can't and I won't be able to get my diploma until March 2013. I know jobs want to see the actual physical diploma before hiring. I was wondering if someone graduate for college and got a job immediately after graduation without having the diploma.

If not, I have been thinking about doing TALK because I do have an AA, and TALK doesn't require a BA.

I'm just stressed out by the whole situation. I want to teach in Korea and that's been my whole goal in college (majoring in linguistics and got a TESOL certificate from my college). Also, I have the complication of having a pet that I would also need to be moved with me when I move to Korea so that makes looking for a job be more of a headache.

You're creating stress for yourself. The requirement is to have the physical diploma with apostille and national-level criminal background check, also with apostille, to get the visa. That's for teaching in Korea.

You can look for jobs in another country, one that has less stringent credential requirements and one that is more pet-friendly.

You just got to be patient. They require the physical diploma in hand so you won't really be able to do anything until you have that...

See you next March 2.

Remember to apply for your CBC in October so you will have everything ready to go when you get your parchment in December.
