I see Koreans send text messages using naver and other sites. I was wondering how to send mass text messages (maybe 30-50 at a time) in Korea (preferably online)?

It's not spam, it's for school. We have to contact parents and it involves mass-texting. It's a pain to do it on the phone, so I want to know if there's a better way.

Any advice would be great!

There are many different sites that can do this. One that I have used is http://www.ppurio.com although there are many other similar sites. It's pretty simple to use. Sign up (ppurio was easy to join with a foreign ID, not so with some of the other sites I tried). They'll give you 20 free messages when you sign up, after that you'll have to pay, but the rates are reasonable, less than what you would pay to send from a phone. It's convenient for mass texting because it lets you create a phone book where you can save all your numbers. All you have to do is click the group of numbers, type your message, and click send. It's cheap and convenient. I don't think there are any services that are completely free in Korea, at least I've never heard of one, probably to prevent spam.
