And how much would one be roughly?

I'm in Jamsil. Just need the mattress only.

Thanks.

Anyone buy one anywhere in Seoul? Just want to know how much one is, ballpark. And what sort of place is the best place to buy one.

Thanks.

All around Achasan station. Bed central. Will cost around or just under 250,000 at the cheaper stores. Or order gmarket.com. Avoid major names for a good price. Just be sure it has pocket coils.

I should add that mine had an American name, and they claimed it was from the USA, but I do not believe it. It has been a good bed so far, though. We use it every night. I estimate we will get 4 years minimum out of it. Out daughter likes to jump on it, or it might be more. The shop I found was closer to the bridge down the hill toward janhanpyeong station. West side of the street. Those bed stores have big basements with more mrchandise.

There's a big sticky somewhere on this board for used furniture.

http://www.t-recycle.co.kr/

On the main menu go to the second option for locations. Click the 5th one which is Seongnam,,,maybe 10 minutes south of you.

Jamshil is a more upscale shopping area so you might want to take the Yellow Line down to around Moran city market area or a couple stations further south.

Also, check Craigslist and that market site on Facebook.

Used mattress? UGH, don't risk it since you have no idea of what was on it before. Same goes for sofas.

There are loads of those matress places about. Just ask a co-worker.

For a matress I'd say it would only set you back 30 - 50K.

G Market. I bought this hard mattress with a layer of memory foam on top. Built into the mattress. Most comfortable bed I've slept on. Better than hotels even. Anyways, I still use it two years later. Maybe 150,000 won. Not bad price at all. Check the site for yourself.
