Are you allowed to use the auction house?
I know the Korean version is off limits because of gambling or whatever.

But if i bought the north american version in korea using a north american battle.net account, would i be able to use the auction house without a problem?


Also about the auction house, do you absolutely have to use real money? or can you use in game gold as well?



I am very much contemplating on buying another copy of diablo 3 because the one i got has only korean text and voices and thinking of giving this to a friend (if he doesn't already have it).


Can anyone confirm if they have the american version and live in korea as well?

The real money auction house doesn't open until may 23. You don't HAVE to use real money, you can just use in-game gold. If you have a US battlenet account, the money from the auction house goes there, so living in Korea is not a problem.

I currently live in Korea and purchased the English digital DL version, and haven't regretted it.

the virtual currency auction house is live. i used it last nite. however, i'm not sure about if they are allowing the real currency auction house. i never plan on using it so i don't really care too much about it.

I know that the real currency auction is now live and I was able to go onto it this morning. I haven't had an issue with playing or using the game but I also did my download in the States prior to coming over here. I have a North American battle.net account... I really think that the reason I am not having issues because I pre downloaded the client. Good luck!

FYI, Blizz was charging $1 US dollar for every item you list if it sells and things are not cheap so far.
