My brother currently lives in Toronto. He's currently getting his documents in order and hopes to come to Korean to teach within the next few months to teach. It would be his first visa in Korea and he's an Irish citizen. I understand he will have to complete an in person interview at his home Korean embassy or consulate (in Dublin) before he comes here.
Is this interview obligatory? Is there any possibility he could complete the interview at the Korean embassy in Toronto? Is there any leeway or will he be forced to travel to Ireland in order to get the E2 visa before he travels to Korea? |

IF he is a legal resident in Canada (PR or work/student visa - NOT on a TR visa) he can do it in Canada.
If he is NOT legally resident then he goes home for it.
