Would anyone happen to know if there's much of a car enthusiast scene here? Back home I was part of a club and I'm just wondering if that sort of community exists here. I'm mostly a fan of Japanese cars, and I've seen the odd RHD S15 and a few Supras here and there but I would imagine the scene is bigger than that.

I'd be interested too if you find out where this is. I heard the race down some street in ilsan but don't know where.

There are car clubs. I don't know any but I had a coworker who was big into one.

They would usually meet up on a weekend night somewhere. Maybe get some food or talk. Then they would go racing in gyeonggido or over some bridges for fun.

You'll see a lot of Hyundais because there are a lot of aftermarket parts for Tiburons, Tuscani's. In my commutes around Seoul, I've seen Evolutions, Skyline GTR's, and Nissan 300Z's. Have not seen any riced up civics or accords though.
