Precautions when using GMarket?

I've only used GMarket once, but I'm looking at buying a mattress topper there but I'm not sure what to watch out for when choosing a seller.
I've found one that got hundreds of good reviews on Amazon.com, but I want to make sure that the seller is reliable before I send them 200,000won.
What exactly should I be looking for in the ratings, and are there any red flags to watch out for?
And if for some reason the seller doesn't deliver as promised, is there any recourse to get your money back?

Here's a link to the mattress topper I'm considering:

Thanks for your help

I've ordered from them (G Market) multiple times over the years. I've never had a problem. If a merchant ripped me off, I guess, I'd complain to G Market, itself. But, I think you'd prob be ok.

There's a little yellow bar next to each seller on the search page. If you've got at least three bars (of five), you're nearly guaranteed you'll have no trouble. I've ordered a tonne of stuff off Gmarket - many things from sellers with no rating at all - and only ever had a problem with one seller.

I don't think your seller has a rating because there's only one customer review. English Gmarket sucks. The blue logo on your page one short scroll down means it's imported, and will take a long time to get here.

Here's a search with some good results.

Thanks for the replies, guys.
Underwaterbob, I'm glad you pointed out that it would have to be imported. I knew it was made in the States, but I just assumed they already had stock in Korea - I didn't expect I'd have to wait. So instead I'll wade through the other choices on the link you provided. Thanks again.

I've used GMarket to buy tons of stuff...almost everything in my house! From my furniture to my aircon to my very expensive gaming laptop (well over 1 mil) to my expensive LED TV (almost a mil) and I've never had a single problem.

In fact, the only 1 time I ever had a problem with a product I bought online not being delivered, it was because they had sold out and I just had to cancel it. And that wasn't even on GMarket.

As the above poster said...if you're at all worried just stick to the sellers with the high ratings and good reviews.

I thought I'd ask here before beginning a new thread (since we're on the topic of online shopping).
I am thinking about making an order from Amazon.com and shipping to Korea. I know some things cannot be shipped here but for those that can what might be the issue, import duty? -What are we talking about here?
I'm tall an it's hard to find good shoes - they laugh at me when I ask. So I figure I may just bring them in. How much could the add on be for $150 boots? Also clothes -ie. brands I know will fit properly.

Also, would anyone know if that applies to used items available from amazon?
anyone tried this?

Try endless.com for shoes. They add on a duty deposit to ensure smooth delivery. I paid 23,000 won duty for $145 in shoes and the shipping was free.
