Hello,
I have an unusual situation and would like to know if anyone has any information.
I quit my hagwon, giving 2 months notice, because of late pay and bad treatment. Surprise surprise, they didn't pay me for my last month, and I started the labor board process with them.
I got a letter of release from them and have a new job at a public/private school. I 100% know that this school is completely legit in all of their dealings due to my personal friendships with many of their current and past teachers.
My new job says that they also need my old school's business certification number to transfer my visa. My old school has refused to give it to them and they say that I need to get it somehow.
I can't find any information saying that I even need this number for the transfer, but from what I see my letter of release should be enough. I called the immigration and labor board hotlines but they didn't know about it either.
If I do in fact need this number, how can I get it?
Thank you for any help. |
