It's so cheap compared to UK pricing. I don't think I could build the rig for that cost back home.
I upgraded the PSU to the corsair 700 watt and I changed it to the Ti version of the 560 as well as pushing the HDD up to a 1TB.
Problems for me are the case which is minging with too many LEDS and the the motherboard which is the non overclocking version, which seems crazy when you're already forking out for a 2500 (even though it's not the K version.) |

I might consider a Z68 chipset mainboard instead. But no need to pay for the PC Express 3.0 models, as 2.0 will more than suffice for the next 5 years. I hear the Asrock models are a good value and get decent marks in the USA. |

You can get very powerful very cheap desktop computers these days. I bought a pre-built no-brand desktop computer more than 3 years ago for 650.000 won, and it still runs everything I've challenged it with at 1920x1080 without a flicker. I think you can get away with much less than the 1,000,000 price tag on the computer you suggested. On the other hand, if you want to spend 1,000,000, I am not saying it's a bad choice.
I have however had some problems with my computer. I have fried both the motherboard and the GPU. The motherboard died from a static shock when I touched the power on button, and I think the GPU breakdown was related. Fortunately the GPU price had dropped a lot since I bought it, so it was fairly cheap to replace with something of similar power. |
