Thinking about getting one for my home. Anybody use these in Korea?
How does it work out? I'd probably just buy a cheap one.

I wouldn't bother buying one now, unless you can by a unit that humidifies AND de-humidifies (if thats possible?) - in a couple of months it gets too humid here....

I have one! Summer is coming so you won't see any being sold soon (so get one now and keep it for next winter~). If you're only staying for a year, I wouldn't waste money getting one now because you won't need it soon.

I use a Bokuk brand (pretty common here) one and it's awesome~ It has multiple settings and a remote control that lets you set how high you want the humidity in the room to be ^.^ I got it at HomePlus on sale because I got it off-season (aka, not fall/winter) ^.^ You can get little cone ones (why bother, imo) or GIANT ones... I had a HomePlus brand one and it broke after a week ;.; Get a brand-name one and love it <3
