Is this the English version of the game or the collectors edition? Korean version of the game costs 55k online, so it wouldn't make any sense. English version costs 59 online, but for those who want the box, I could understand why they would pay a 25% premium.

Yeah, the Yongsan vendors irregularly import English version games that are otherwise unobtainable in Korea (unless you know about the internet) and mark them up like crazy. Madden, the earlier Assassin's Creed games, and Rock Band titles have all been sold at 80,000- 120,000 won in the past.

I used to think the markup was crazy for these things, but when I factor in all the costs: $60 for Diablo 3 (about 70,000 won), plus an extra 40,000 for shipping it here plus the import duty, I don't think it's that bad.

In the U.S., I bought the regular version for $59 from Amazon and $100 for the limited from Best Buy. That limited version was a pain in the buttocks to find at retail price. From what I've read, it easily sells for $200 and over. Scalpers are buying dozens of copies of it and reselling them (apparently often to Asians who export them out to Asia).
