I have some questions for those that run Study Rooms in their homes. This would be for F2-1 holders most likely. It was mentioned in another thread that you can get a licence from the Education Board or something and teach English in your home.
My understanding is you must register a business number and pay the appropriate taxes every year.
If someone could tell me where to begin with getting my licence from the education office that would be great please.
Business is already registered so no problems with that.
Thanks all. |

As far As I know, bring a Korean with you and get the appropritate paper work. Depending on the officers mood and balls... you just might get it.
:edit: now that I think about it, for some reason I have a flash of information going through my head that it must be of a certain size... ah now i can't remember. |

I think you're thinking of hagwons... maybe? They have to be a certain size, depending on the area.
I heard something about the home teaching being limited to 9 people, I don't plan on listening to this little rule though. I'm trying to make money here
Any idea about what's required to get the appropriate paper work from the Education Office? |
