Any American kids out here up for a game of catch, PM me.
And also, how can I find a good baseball club team to get some exercise with?
I know that baseball is pretty popular in Korea, although I'm not sure how popular it is with the non-Korean crowd here.
Thanks for any info~! |

So Canadians need not apply?
There's actually a Baseball League in Seoul sponsored by the Itaewon bars. Look it up on facebook, although it might be full. There's also a team down in Anyang that I know of. |

Yes! Where abouts? I played for 15 years, but I can still do a little something.
However, my glove is back at home in the US.
PM me, I'd be interested in some BP, or just tossing it. |

Yes, there is an expat baseball league that plays at the government complex in gwacheon. I think they will be accepting new players in august for the second half of the season. It's tons of fun. Come check it out on Saturdays, games are played all day (9-4). Great Beer and Tacos are sold. You won't be able to join any of the expat league games at the moment but there are 3 other fields where you join pick up games. |

It's a wide range. Lots of guys (and a few girls) haven't played since little league. There's a good amount of ex-high school players and even a few ex-college guys. Some of the pitchers are quite good (70-80mph range) but no one is unhittable.
I'm one of the guys that hasn't played since I was a kid. Honestly, I'm a big bowl of Okay. Doesn't matter. It's more or less a beer league where most of the players don't take it seriously. If you suck, nobody will give you a hard time. Everyone plays (in the field and at bats). It's a lot of fun. Feel free to PM me if you have more questions or post em here. |
