I understand that the FBI CRC means I need to send a fingerprint form into the FBI (along with necessary forms), but that RushDocs and similar companies can handle it from there (getting it notarized, apostilled, etc.) and return it to me.

What about dealing with degrees? Right now I'm living in Indonesia and I have my original degrees with me. Can I get these "notarized" and "apostilled" or whatever here in Indonesia, or will I need to ship those back to the states as well?

Apostilled and needs to be from the country/state document is from. So if you went to the University of California. The degree will likely need to apostilled by the State of California or even possible the US State department (maybe not). Using the apostille services are ok, cost money but will quicken things up and avoid you leg work.

So in the end you will have to do some mailing and need help back in the states to get them verified.

Good Luck

So if I am from the USA, but one of my degrees is from Australia, will I need to get the degree apostilled in Australia?

Think the US-based apostille services can handle that as well?

Yep on the degree. Well I think many of the apotilled services for States are just the States, but some might try to be more International.

Still a google search brings up likely usable services

If they are from the states, you have to ship them to the states. Fly home to do it or have some agency do it for you.
