i applied for a d-10 last monday and will pick it up on april 16th.
however, at a job interview today, they wanted to know about when i could change back to an e-2.
does anyone know, or have experience with going back to an e-2 visa? i thought it could be done pretty simply but i haven't received my new d-10 ARC card yet.... |

You can change your status back to E2 at any time. Just pop into Kimmi and fill in the application, supply the required paperwork from the employer, your passport and fees.

ahh, did forget one thing....assuming i reverted back to an e-2 tomorrow (apply for one in immi), would there be a waiting period of not being able to work while waiting for a new e-2/ARC?
hopefully i'd be able to transfer and then immediately start working while picking up my e-2 later |

2 weeks vs. 3 months on a tourist visa
I would say you are perfect for Korea, overly paranoid. |

the issue isn't whether i'm paranoid or not.
i have a job offer. the principle will not wait for 2 weeks to gain a d-10 then change it back to an e-2.
what's the issue here? i have a good offer on the table, i need to start asap and the school is looking for the same thing. |

Not an issue while waiting for the cards. It is the immigration file that matters.
Change to E2 and start work tomorrow.
