Any interesting stories out there?

Was it online? Co-worker? Itaewon?

I met mine while taking public transit.

Just curious.

Went back home for grad school after a year in Korea. She was doing a year-long exchange program at the same university. Profs and classmates told me about a Korean language club on campus. Met her there, hit it off pretty quickly, and the rest is history. Married a little over a month ago here in Korea.

I met my boyfriend of four months, surprisingly, at the bar. I'm most definitely not the type to just up and talk to someone (especially when I was sober like I was), but I did it and, also surprisingly, it worked out well.

My friends left to go find other friends who were lost, so I went outside to sit and wait on them to come back. Said boyfriend was sitting there beside me, also alone, so after like 5 minutes, I just asked him where his friends were and the rest is history...

We met out-of-country at a get-together at a friend's place (who happened to be her sister), and she dragged me back to her home country. Married, going on six years now.

My estranged ex wife adopted her as a baby from a Korean village. We raised her as a family and then when she came of age I put the moves on her and after a brief courtship, we got married. We have been happy ever since much to the dismay of the ex.

He winked at me on Korean friend finder-so some of the guys that end up in K still dig western chicks Very Happy. Told him to meet me at Starbucks (cuz he didn't mention that he hated coffee). We wandered around all day, ended up at 3 coffee shops in one day. Obviously, I married him (2 and a half years ago).
