| Thanks for the responses. My wrists are saved for another day. Actually, I'm really in the country and the only foreign person here. I normally don't mind but just felt to meet someone and grab a beer, that's all. Anyway, I'm near namyangju. Also, if there's some kind of meetup, I'd be keen for that. |

We used to have them fairly regularly (I often organized them) but they eventually died off. The problem is that I'm lazy and don't want to organize these things. One group whines about it being in Seoul, another group whines about it being in Hongdae or Itaewon instead of somewhere else, others whine about the date, etc.
Although, considering Whiskey Weasel recently opened in Gagnam and probably doesn't get much business yet, someone could take the reins and organize an event there. |

I too think it's a good idea, especially for someone that has sufficent time to plan the event. Better yet, have two or three different people plan something on a regular basis. That way, you shift the burden of the behind the scenes work. |
