I saw this last week, and as much as I love Batman (my favourite movie is Batman Begins), my first thought was, "an adult who dresses up as Batman? Lame." But after reading a bit more of the article, I saw how wrong I was: he's clearly having fun dressing up as Batman, drives an awesome car, and helps children going through terrible circumstances.

To paraphrase The Dark Knight: He's both the hero those children deserve, and the one they need.

The guy's no fool. My guess is he knew he'd get pulled over eventually, and by his behavior he was ready for it. He knew it would be caught by the cops' camera and might eventually make its way to TV.

I disagree. I think that if he was looking for or expecting some recognition/TV exposure, he would have assumed it would have been from one of his hospital visits to sick kids.

Anyway, a different Batman got into trouble, using facebook!

I'm not saying he was looking for it, but he was ready for it. After all, he was driving around without the plates on his very expensive car...He knew it was coming.
