Lol, do you want a pity party?
He must not have liked your picture, you're too old or you are just awkward.
Or it can be the saturated job market.
Either way, go with another recruiter.

Thank you modern, for the kind words of encouragement. If I find a job, I will name! I am truly sad though, even though some here think it's silly.
I have heard good things about this recruiter. and had my hopes up. I learned my lesson.

Tbh, I doubt this recruiter is any better than others. It probably just means the people who had good experiences are more vocal than the ones with bad experiences. How did you get rejected, anyway? I've never even noticed I was rejected at all, the ones that did probably just deleted my email, or added me to a mailing list of despair. Just keep swimmin'...

The recruiter made it sound like no schools "chose" me..idk, I have never done this before. I have BS in Education and will have my Master's in Teaching in August.
I am "older" but I don't look like it. I am looking for public school to start in August. Oh well, I'll just keep looking. Thank you for the kind reply.

Likely in mid April with applications being closed at the end of May and jobs starting in mid August.

If you don't have your documentation (CBC and degree with apostilles affixed) in hand already you will be looking for a job starting next March with applications being closed in the first week of Dec.

You are too qualified, epik don't want to hire you because they will have to pay you more than someone with no relevant qualifications.

It certainly is, look at the number of qualified teachers with years of experience who get rejected, most new epik teachers are straight from uni with just a BA.
