I wonder how many other people do this.

I have four children classes (10-13) and two Korean English teacher classes. In my hagwon the departments are split, so one teacher class is composed of elemantary school teachers, and the other is made from the middle and high school teachers.

I can't say I can complain about it too much. I guess my main problem is that they're forced to attend by the owner. They're busy people, I'm sure they'd much rather be doing something else.

I'll just let this float - how many other people teach the teachers? How does it go?

I spend the bulk of my time teaching teachers.

2 afternoons a week with elementary teachers, 3 with secondary. They attend voluntarily but I dont see where your boss gets off demanding attendance. Indeed theyre busy people & if its a hagwon situation they are simply paying customers.

I love my teachers largely because those who dont care to be there arent -- I get a dedicated crew. Elaborate on your situation ..

We get a few English teachers mixed in with the general adults classes...

Generally no more difficult than other students. Sometimes they annoy me cos they should see my side more but not every teacher (even school teacher) is bright enough to do that....

As usual - if you make teh classes useful adn interesting - they will be glad they came. Try doing a short survey of student needs and wants every 2-4 weeks and then acting on it.
