I want to build my own pc and instead of ordering online, I'm thinking of going up to yongsan on tuesday to Icoda.

Just wondering are they pretty good at not pressuring/upselling. I want to buy a specific set of parts and want them to confirm compatibility, but I don't want them to lie just to upsell. Specifically I need to check that one of their psus is going to work ok with a gfx card, as well as checking if I can fit the card in the case. I've heard Icoda are good, but only from a couple of sources.

I'm also wondering if they generally hold a lot of stock i.e. am I likely going to be able to walk away with the stuff, or do they generally order from the manufacturers first and then send it to you?

any other opinions on icoda welcome.

Thanks

Icoda seemed to have some stock, and get it from other places within 10 minutes or so, as many do in Yongsan.

They weren't at all into pressuring or upselling. They basically sat there and brought up whatever you wanted, and were more than happy to show us the screen for comparisons of similar models.

Not the cheapest retailer, but one of the larger and more trusted ones. We had a decent experience. They also spoke English.

Thanks.

Their price parts aren't too bad, a little bit of a mark up on them, but it will be good to have them all from the same place so i can sort it out if any of them are broken or defective. It's good to have just one place to deal with.
