Hi guys,

I'm trying to find a swimming pool set up for scuba training in Seoul that isn't crazy driving distance from Hongdae.

It doesn't have to be fancy so long as it's safe. I'm not worried about the quality of the rental kit as I'll be bringing my own.

Any useful reply will get you a free beer or three should I bump into you ^^

Take it easy

Many thanks alongway!

I dived Jamsil about 8 years ago. It's was nice but really crowded and quite expensive. As I recall it was heated which is quite unusual.

I may check it out again later today.

You've got a beer credit if I ever bump into you ^^

Camp Kim USO, located by Sookmyung Univ. Station (Blue Line, Exit 7) -- http://affiliates.uso.org/korea/default.cfm?contentid=346 -- provides a scuba diving experience for a very reasonable price -- http://www.koridoor.co.kr/bbs/board.php?bo_table=travelInfo&wr_id=211. I do not know if it only includes swimming in a pool, but for 156 K Won for Military personnel and 168 K Won for civilians, it is worth finding out.

I'm guessing that's the Padi discover scuba they're doing. Thanks sojusucks, I'll check out that pool too ^^
