|
|
Hey guys, I tried to register a Korean Battlenet account yesterday in preparation for D3's release. As I don't have a credit card registered to my name, my only option to validate the account is through mobile, which requires something called RID. I assume this is like your ID number, but when I put mine in it said the name and or number is not correct.
I tried every combination of my name (family name first, with and without middle name, etc) and it still wouldn't work, so I have to assume the problem is with my ID number.
Anyone gotten this to work before? What did you do? |

I don't know if this is the case, but I've had to use my name in the format: LASTFIRSTMIDDLE (all caps, no spaces) before to sign up for websites that accept foreigner IDs (auction.co.kr in particular.)
Edit: In fact upon re-reading your post, I don't think this is your problem at all. |
