ok, good for them.. BUT...

GI Joe? seriously one movie and now a star on the hollywood walk of fame?

Jean Claude van Damme ,George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Clint Eastwood
Angelina Jolie. Jenifer Aniston. Leonardo Di Caprio.david letterman,
christopher Walken,
don't have stars on the walk of fame..
but now two Korean actors who have not even made any Hollywood movies.
this Halluyu things is getting out of control, they must of paid a lot.

If Walken doesn't have one, it means they're for sale.

Apparently the cost is $30,000.

Interesting read here.

Good article. I guess Hollywood stars aren't exclusive and a A lister wouldn't want one. I'm a little disappointed Santa Claus couldn't get one. I'm a big fan of his work.

Hollywood has always been self congratulatory and douchy but come on. Are there any honors or accolades left on earth that are worth a damn. What a crappy world we live in.
If those actors had any honor or dignity they would decline this "award."

Really? Ahn Sung-ki? A guy who has never even been in a Hollywood movie? I like him and all but that's stupid.

California needs all of the money it can get. Businesses, including media industries, are leaving in droves. Just a matter of time before Hollywood is but an empty shell.

California is the 49th least-friendly business state in the union. Heck, you cannot even buy a product from California off of the internet without getting nailed for state taxes now. Businesses can hop over the border and set up shop in the 2nd most business-friendly state in the union. And many are.

California is trying to eek money out of local businesses to pay for its failed ultra-liberal policies, so businesses are voting with their feet.

You are quite right...but then again...it isn't an 'award'...it is a paid advertisement. Wink

Well, as long as the local media don't start claiming they are the first Korean actors to get a star.

(Be sure to read up on his father, while you're at it).

OK...I've found a fan blog which claims they are the first Asian actors to get a star. OK, I'll relent since Philip Ahn was technically Korean-American...Sure. But, what about Jackie Chan?

(I didn't bother to check if he's THE first "Asian Asian" star to get one).
