|
|
So I had an injury back in 2005 which has caused my nose to develop a bit of a deformity over the years. I know... it sounds weird to me too...
I didn't do anything about it then because it wasn't broken and it didn't hurt. It also would have cost me a fortune to even consult with a plastic surgeon. But here in Korea, it's considerably less expensive.
I've been told it's a relatively easy surgery to remove a bump from the top or side of the nose but I also know that Korean faces are quite different from western faces.
But I'm feeling some discomfort now and have been for the past year or so and am considering seeing a plastic surgeon in Seoul to talk about what basically amounts to a "nose job" I guess... it's more cosmetic than anything else.
My question here of course now being is there anyone out there who has had this kind of thing done in Korea? If so, please respond or send me a private message! |

I'd like to know too. I've got quite the Frenchie nose and I'd like to get it more in proportion to the rest of my facial features. |

I'm close to a Korean lady who had hers done in Daejeon. Turned out really good - her nose resembled a massive ski slope before, but now she has a nose like Song Hye Kyo's! I think the prices are generally cheaper in Daejeon than in Seoul too. But you should look around the Gangnam area; they have a whole load of good plastic surgeons there (who have done work on both Koreans and Westerners. Your nose should be no problem). It is very easy to remove bumps from the nose. Should be no task at all for a good surgeon. |

Thanks for that!
But I'd still like to hear from a westerner who has actually had the procedure done here...
Anyone...? |

How exactly does one have a nose-job and then return to school soon after? I would imagine you'd need a decent amount of time off for healing.
Also, what are students' reactions to a teacher returning to school with a new nose? (It's not exactly a subtle change) |

This is an old topic, but, I'm curious if anyone has any recent info on rhinoplasty in Korea on a westerner. Prices? Experiences? Recommendations? Thanks. |
