Does anyone have a comprehensive list of what they are testing your blood and urine for?

I am taking medication for an endocrine related issue (nothing communicable or life threatening) and I have no idea if this is going to show up on the blood test. I'll be leaving for Korea at the end of May.

I will have a letter from my doctor stating what the medication is and what it is treating, but I am really stressed out about this whole thing.

Does anyone have an idea of what they are looking for?

Thanks for your help

I've seen the test results for a few new teachers which were sent back to my hagwon director.

The document showed that the following tests were done:

HIV/Opiates/Cocaine/Methamphetamine/Marijuana/(and some other drug I think it was barbiturates).

I'm not saying this is a comprehensive list of what they test for. But I really doubt that they do a full spectrum of tests looking for conditions like yours. If so, the medical check would be much more expensive than it currently is.

Having said that, make sure that the medication isn't known for causing a false positive for any of the above-mentioned drugs. Do an extensive google search for false positives and your specific medication.

Once you get here, if you happen to test positive for something, they'll let you retest in approximately 30 days. So if your condition allows you to be off medication long enough for it to get out of your system, you'll be fine.
