Any South Koreans expected to win or place in the top 3 in any of the events?
What events are they strong in for the summer games?
Thanks |

Nothing in track and field. Archery, shooting, taekwondo and judo are all strong sports for Korea. |

There's a site called totallympics.com that has all sorts of info about the Olympics with contributors from every corner of the world. They cover all the sports and trials for the summer and winter games. Nice one stop shop to inform yourself if you're interested in the Olympics.
Sorry, after re-reading this post I think it comes off as a bit like spam. I don't own or operate the site. I just use it to keep up to date about amateur sports, so I hope it's helpful. |

I like how Koreans cheer Koreans in all sports and not just the areas where the country is strong. |

Yup. I think they've got a shot in the pool. They're holding the qualifier here on the 25th. |

Just looking at the medal table for the Beijing Olympics and they got the 7th most gold medals. Pretty impressive, I'm surprised. I would have thought Japan would do slightly better but no.

Notice Britain performing better than any country except the far larger US, China and Russia |
