Been craving this since I came back from Tokyo. Anyone know a good restaurant in Seoul that serves this?

I don't know any specific restaurants but there are street vendors that sell them along with takoyaki all over the city.

Really ? Usually give the street vendors a wide berth. What kind of fillings are in them? I would like to hit up a restaurant that would have a menu with some options.

There is a chain owned by a Japanese guy in Myeongdong and Hongdae.

I went with some Japanese friends and they said it tastes like in Japan. It is a Japanese brand.

I don't know if this is the restaurant you're talking about, but there is a restaurant in Hongdae that has okonomiyaki. It's on the main strip of the restaurant side of Hongdae, near the end of the street (close to the rotary) on the left hand side (if you're coming from beerspace).

Fugetsu has a restaurant in Hongdae as well. Not sure if it's the one you're talking about. Don't remember where the one in Hongdae is.

Almost any place will make something they call okonomiyaki. That doesn't mean a thing. If you want something authentic you are best to learn how to make it yourself. It ain't that hard.

the sauce is everywhere.
cabbage shredded.
octopus, pork, whatever
pickled ginger is here and there.
fish flakes.
mayo.
buckwheat flower.
an egg or two
and a frying pan.
