If you mean a Korean check from a Korean police station, then I just had to get one. If you mean you have to get a police check from your home country whilst residing in Korea, then I can't offer any guidance.
My understanding is that you must go to a police station in the city which is employing you. It's best to go with someone who speaks Korean. Also, take your passport and ARC. I wasn't charged a fee, but I don't know if this is standard. It took like five minutes, but there were also no lines. Don't get me started on how long it took to transfer my visa. That was the pits. |
