When watching Korean shows, you often don't see store/restaurant/product names revealed.
There is a show where the hosts go to different restaurants and sample the restaurants menu. The restaurant names are just "K restaurant", "A restaurant", etc.
Another show has the hosts going to different clothing stores. Again, the store names are not shown. Instead they reveal the names in such a fashion; "I**** F****", "K*** E*** G***", etc.
A product review show even puts stickers over the products in order to hide the brand and product name.
What is the reason for this? |

There's a law against product placement. I personally think that and blurring out cigarettes is stupid. Sometimes all you see is blurs on screen. Sometimes it's pretty obvious what product or company they're talking about. |

I love those shows where they go to particular restaurants and have to hide the name and everything. At least they put the info on the show's website. |
