Why anyone would be stupid enough to purchase one of these over-valued roach boxes on the verge of a housing collapse is beyond me. |

I bought an apartment on a standard English teacher's visa (E-2?). There are no restrictions, maybe you don't even need a visa.
There is a route you can go using your visa on the deed, and that is easy. I think there is a route you can go using your passport, but that is more difficult.
Anyway, I think there are no restrictions on foreigners owning land or apartments in Korea, except for near military bases. |

I know a guy who got one on the cheap - rush sale.
People are a bit strapped for cash these days so there are some good deals out there apparently. |

Full payment. I don't know anything about getting a loan here. We're barely trusted with phone contracts here, doubt we can get home loans. Then again, you can't take an apartment with you when you leave, so maybe loans are possible. |
