Hi Everyone,

I am leaving 6/17 to go teach in Korea through the Princeton Review Korea. I need to get my background check apostilled, as well as my degree.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I found this site http://www.state.gov/m/a/auth/

It says "Documents sent through the U.S. mail can be delayed by several weeks in arriving at the Authentications Office because of the irradiation process. "

Has anyone done this recently? Will it take long?

Thanks

The degree can be apostilled at the state level and doesn't take long. The CBC on the other hand, if mailed to D.C. can take 8 weeks. I've done it twice now, and went through a courier each time. They walk it in and you get it in about a week's time. I think I paid about $50, but it's worth it to avoid waiting the two months. I'd suggest that route since you're due in Korea before then.

I used http://uslegalization.com/ and it was a breeze. I've also heard http://www.rushdocs.com/ is a good one.
