Hi Everyone,
I am leaving 6/17 to go teach in Korea through the Princeton Review Korea. I need to get my background check apostilled, as well as my degree.
Does anyone have any experience with this? I found this site http://www.state.gov/m/a/auth/
It says "Documents sent through the U.S. mail can be delayed by several weeks in arriving at the Authentications Office because of the irradiation process. "
Has anyone done this recently? Will it take long?
Thanks |

The degree can be apostilled at the state level and doesn't take long. The CBC on the other hand, if mailed to D.C. can take 8 weeks. I've done it twice now, and went through a courier each time. They walk it in and you get it in about a week's time. I think I paid about $50, but it's worth it to avoid waiting the two months. I'd suggest that route since you're due in Korea before then. |
