I am getting tired of my school and there are certain issues that keep raising their heads that I am not prepared to compromise on anymore and the school probably aren't either. Nothing serious, but enough for me to be hauled up on on occaision. Been there for 16 months now.
So. I am wondering whether to leave. My visa status will be changing soon anyway, so I don't 'need' them to sponsor me anymore. The only reason I am really staying there now is because a) my fiance works there and b) I am saving money for the wedding as it is guaranteed income as opposed to privates which is just supplementary money.
If I leave, or they want me to leave, is it going to be easy to walk into a job straight away - one that I want to do, or is it going to be easier to go down the private road or should I bite my lip and wait and see my contract through - next february? I am quite keen to go and work in a mainstream middle or high school, but am I right in thinking this is the wrong time of year to hire?
Is the market going down at the moment or is it good? |

In order to answer that question, a little info on what constitutes a job you'd want to do might be in order. I got sick of my last job and strolled directly into a fantastic new job- but I'd guess that's a little rare. |

Afternoon hours, less hours than I am on now, no kindergarten.
Looking at maybe afternoons in high or middle schools as a part time teacher. Are they there? |

Bloody hope the market isn't going down. From my whopping experience of 3 days searching the sweaty Seoul streets it seems like the older the kids are the harder, the jobs are to find i.e.: Kinder jobs are plentiful, Middle School and Adults are harder to find.
Hey, if you do find any spare jobs going round, I'll swap you beer for them! |

Why not stay until the wedding then have a long honeymoon? You could start a new job after the honeymoon and after you get your F-2. |

Money thing more than anything. I can't really afford to take too much time off at any one time, and we intending to go to england at the beginning of next year for a few weeks. |
